HAPPY MOON CAKE FESTIVAL a.k.a. MID AUTUMN FESTIVAL!!!

Well, seriously the mid autumn festival is like one of my least-to-care-about Chinese festival ever since I grew up and stopped playing Chinese lantern. Yet, I still love sky gazing during this time of the year. I'm not a fan of moon cakes you see, until lately XD...

My mom's home made mooncakes anyone? There's snow skin, pure lotus, white lotus, lotus with yolk, nuts..........

A litle warning though, you will either love it or hate it... =)

Anyway, it's kind off pointless to celebrate this festival tonight here in Tawau. East Malaysia is being attacked by haze and that includes lovely ol' Tawau. So, no panoramic view of gigantic yellow ball on the sky neither are the gliterry stars shimmering for tonight :'( That's so sad. I mean, what';s the point of a MOON cake festival if there's no MOON? Same thing happened here last year, but it happened because it was pouring so heavily. *sighs* 2 years in a row!!

The haze is really getting worst by the day. Usually in the evenings about 3 pm - 5 pm, the sun will be like fearsomely (is there such a word? XD) shinning through my room cuasing it to heta up like an oven. Apparently, my house's front door is facing is and my room's window is facing west. Such luck. I know, I know, not very pretty shots but you can't blame me!!! Well, blog ya next time!
